12080133 Canada Incorporated (operating as Transmitex) provides the Transmitex money exchange service at transmitexchange.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the website, create an account, verify your identity, arrange an exchange, or contact us.

Information we collect

We collect account and contact details such as your name, email address, and information you provide in your profile; verification status and information needed for identity checks; exchange details, including amounts, rates, recipient and payment information; payment reports and proof files you upload; and messages or support requests you send us. Our systems also process technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as authentication, device, and request information. If you enable browser notifications, we store the subscription needed to send them.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify identity, assess eligibility, provide quotes and exchanges, review payments, communicate transaction updates, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, maintain records, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. Authorized staff can review information needed to operate and support the service.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Supabase for account authentication and application data storage, Sumsub for identity verification, Vercel for website hosting, and Resend for service emails. If you choose Google sign-in, Google helps authenticate your account. We may use Meta's WhatsApp service for business communications. These providers process information needed to deliver their respective services and may process it outside Canada. We may also disclose information when required by law, regulators, or a valid legal process, or when necessary to protect the service and its users.

Security and retention

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above and for applicable legal and regulatory record keeping. Some identity and transaction records may need to be retained after an account closes.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or request account closure and deletion. We will verify your identity and explain any limits that apply to a request. See our data deletion instructions for the steps. You can disable browser notifications in your browser settings.
